The only PSA 10 sealed copy of Pokémon Snap sold for $231,800 at Landry Pop, more than a 9.8 A++ Super Mario 64 made in August
| SOLD | $231,800 · LANDRY POP AUCTIONS · NOV 3 |
| ESTIMATE | $200,000–$300,000 |
| GRADE | PSA 10 SEALED A++ · POP 1, NONE HIGHER |
$231,800 +16% VS LOW ESTIMATE
A factory-sealed 1999 Pokémon Snap for the N64, graded PSA 10 Sealed A++ and the only copy at that grade on PSA’s census, sold for $231,800 at Landry Pop Auctions on Nov 3, per the house’s unofficial result with premium. That is above the $225,000 a PSA 9.8 A++ Super Mario 64 made at Heritage on Aug 29, per What The Slab. A spin-off photo game outpricing the N64’s flagship says the top of the census now sets the price as much as the title does.

FIELD NOTE
At the top of the census, the grade can outprice the title.
Pokémon Snap was never the N64’s flagship, yet its only PSA 10 sealed copy beat the $225,000 a 9.8 A++ Super Mario 64 made in August. A pop-1 slab gives a buyer something no other copy can, and that can matter more than which game is inside. A second PSA 10 sealed copy is what would test this price.
